This month in my 3D Animation III class, the assignment was to take 10 seconds of audio from a movie, TV show, or Youtube video and animate a 3D character rig to it. I chose a clip from a Brutalmoose video where Ian reviews soggy microwave breakfast sandwiches. In order to transform the piece, I put my animated character in a situation where he is a vlogger dealing with a leaky roof during a rainstorm.
The character rig I used was a free rig named Malcolm which is commonly used for educational purposes.
